REGENT LODGE is in “ Prestigious Guesthouse “ category with unique combination of personalized and professional care to the discerning traveller to Sri Lanka by providing a warm atmosphere – possibly the way by which the hospitality industry can retain its appeal in a world of mass tourism.

REGENT LODGE - is owned by a veteran hotelier. The owner decided to leave mainstream hotel management to create a haven for the discerning, who has no plans to expand it, being content to offer discreet, villa style accommodation and hospitality for a small number of discerning travellers. There are no signposts showing how to get there, but guests arriving by the train are met at the Kandy Railway/ Bus Station and accompanied free of charge by prior notice.

Enquiries for reservations are welcome by E-mail, telephone, Fax or by mail and personalised immediate reply is guaranteed. All requests for reservations will be notified of provisional booking made - to be followed up by a 25% of the cost of the reservation on confirmation, subject to refund of 50% of sum paid, in case of cancellation if notified 21days prior to date of arrival.
Getting There –
If you wish to be met by representative of REGENT LODGE at the airport on your arrival please request, at the time of making reservation. Only cost of transport would be charged for proving this service. Distance is approx. 110km and travel time is 3hrs. You could visit any place of interest on your drive to KANDY depending on the time of arrival of your flight.
There are no sign posts showing how to get here, but guests arriving by the train / bus are met at the Kandy railway/bus station and accompanied to the REGENT LODGE free of charge. This arrangement could be made available by prior arrangement with REGENT LODGE.
It is a ten minutes drive from the city centre.

Guests arriving by Train / Bus are kindly advised to notify us by telephone - 081 22 32032 or 081 22 33213 or by E-mail:regentlodge@sltnet.lk for arrangements to be met on arrival in KANDY and to be accompanied to the REGENT LODGE at no extra cost.
